Osmometer - How

The Advanced Osmometer is supplied with a Starter Pack which contains sufficient consumables for 500 tests. A Micro Sampler is included which can pick up 20ul of urine. This is presented to the Osmometer which measures the freezing point depression. This is directly related to Osmolality.
An early morning osmolality of 600 is taken as an indication of increasing dehydration and a value of over 800 is regarded as a definite warning sign to drink more water!
